The United States is made up of 50 states. 49 of them are part of the continent of North America and 1 is located in the Pacific Ocean. Knowing where the 50 states are located, their capitals, and other key information is important to being an American citizen. This assignment will help you obtain this knowledge. By following the instructions of this assignment, you will learn important information about the United States and possibly learn about places you would like to visit in the future. In this assignment, you must complete the questions listed below. You must also choose one state on which you want to focus on in more detail and complete a PowerPoint presentation to present to the class.
